I’m incredibly proud of the work I do at Glendale Community College and the students I work with in the Film, TV and Media Arts Department. We were excited LAist reporter Julia Barajas spent some time with us and spoke with past and present students about the FTVM student trip to the Sundance Film Festival.

July 25 - August 1, 2020

to the flame, a short film I wrote and directed will screen at the 2020 Woods Hole Film Festival!

"to the flame" will play as part of the shorts program: Dating is Easy.

Once you purchase your "ticket" you will have 48 hours to watch my film (and the rest of the films in the program).

Tickets for the general public for individual films, shorts programs, and other ticketed events (work- shops, panels, etc.) will be available for purchase during the Festival, Saturday, July 25 beginning at 8:00 am EDT. Ticket sales will end at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 1. Tickets are $14

Come to Antioch University Los Angeles' free Literary Uprising reading series and hear Faculty and students share their latest work!  This quarter features MFA Faculty Reader, Lilliam Rivera (author of the novels Dealing in Dreams and The Education of Margot Sanchez ) and MFA Alum Reader Mireya S. Vela, (author of the essay collection Vestiges of Courage.) They will be joined by poet Dare Williams, from PEN America's Emerging Voices Program, Geri Ulrey, a writer from Jim Krusoe's SMC Advanced Fiction Class, and BA student reader Rosie Williams. There will be wine and soft drinks, delicious appetizers, words, conversation, community, and books for sale! FREE Parking passes.
